God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He is all powerful, all-loving, all-knowing, and all-wise. He eternally exists in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 Corinthians 15:24; Ephesians 4:6)
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with God the Father. Jesus became man without ceasing to be God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of mankind by dying on the cross and resurrecting from the dead three days afterwards. He did this to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to the right hand of His Father and will one day return to earth to reign as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Luke 1:34-35; John 1:1,2,14,18; Romans 3:24-26; 8:34).
Holy Spirit is co-equal with God the Father and Jesus, the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He alone brings new life to those who are spiritually dead. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. As Christians, every believer is called to live in the power of the indwelling Spirit that he will bear fruit to the glory of God. (John 3:3-8; 14:16-17; 16: 7-11; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 13, Ephesians 4:30; 5:18)
We believe that “all Scripture is given by the inspiration of God (2 Timothy 3:16). The Bible is God’s Word to men and women. It was written by human writers under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the supreme source of truth and instruction for both the Christian and for the world that we live in. Because God inspires it, the Bible is the truth and it is without error. The Bible was written to not only educate us, but to eternally change our hearts and lives. (Luke 24:27; 44; John 5:39; Romans 15:4; 1 Corinthians 10:11; 2 Timothy 3:16).
